Memory Boxes

We often keep small mementos to remind us of specific events such as a birth or a wedding, or to remind us of people we’ve lost. It is not always easy to keep these memories safe and out of harms way, but one way of doing so is to use a box that has been designed specifically for that purpose.

With occasions like weddings, these boxes are usually given away to people involved such as the bridesmaids or the bride and grooms parents. These then become a valuable keepsake rather than just another hymn sheet or cardboard table place name to gather dust in a drawer somewhere.

Keepsake boxes can take many forms, but often are small wooden boxes with hinged lids. Beautifully painted and often personalised to commemorate a specific date, event or person, they are time capsules recording the event in question. If desired you can even have a photo imprinted onto the box to create an even more personalised gift.

Keepsake boxes come in different sizes. If you have larger items to keep safe then you will want to make sure that you choose a suitable box so that you dont have to fold valuable items. The quality of keepsake boxes can vary enormously too, many boxes are imported form the Far East where quality of manufacture is not always as tightly controlled as you might wish. Some companies supply British made, hand painted keepsake boxes that will be a treasured possession for years to come.

Keepsake boxes share a similar purpose to memory boxes. Memory boxes are used for people to store valuable memories of loved ones whom they’ve lost such as pictures and general items that remind them of that person. It is a thoughtful gift to give someone who has lost a loved one that will help them come to terms with their loss.

Personalising a box for either situation will provide a thoughtful gift that anyone would be happy to receive.

How Do I Get Pregnant? – 3 Ways To Increase Your Chances Of Conception By As Much As 50%

by Claire Arden

How Do I get pregnant? You may be asking this question over and over again in your mind if you have been trying to conceive for some time and nothing seems to be happening.

If both you and your partner have been certified medically able to have children and that there is definitely nothing wrong with either of you then the ideas I share below could increase your chances of conceiving by as much as 50%.

1. Avoid Stress: There is an increasing link between fertility and stress. In a recent study, women exposed to “laughter therapy” actually had greater pregnancy rates than those who did not participate in the therapy

It seems the happier and more relaxed you are, the higher the chances of you conceiving. Best of all it does not take much. Just 15 minutes a day watching a comedy program you enjoy is all you need.Of course the more time you spend the better.

Another answer to the question ” How Do I Get Pregnant?” is for you to try meditation and take relaxation classes. They have been shown to work for many other ailments, infertility is no exception.

2. Say no to any form of lubrication: One big factor that can affect a woman’s fertility by as much as 50% is the use of store bought lubricants eg KY jelly and Vaseline. As it turns out, they damage the sperm.

There is a natural alternative that will do no such damage to your other partner’s sperm, and it is egg whites. Yes, real eggs. Just leave it out for a while, crack open, use the eggwhite in place of lubrication, and believe it or not egg whites are extremely sperm friendly.

3. Are you or your partner on any medication that may affect your ability to have children? Certain medications are known to affect fertility and you need to be aware of them so that you can look for alternatives that will not affect you or your partners fertility in any way.

Some of these medications include anabolic steroids, Cimetidine used in treating ulcers, Nitrofurantoin (used for UTI), anti-hypertensive drugs (specifically calcium channel blockers), aspirin, Colchicine used in treating gout, antidepressants and many others.

Have a chat with your medical practitioner and ask him to suggest alternatives that will not impair your ability to have children in any way

So the question you need to ask yourself is Am I on any medication? and if so, how is it likely to affect my fertility?

We have touched briefly on 3 things you could do that will hopefully answer that burning questions- How Do I Get Pregnant? and I wish you plenty of baby dust.

Divorce Records – Personal Background Check

by Chris Jensen

Divorce is a growing problem. It is said to be under control only in countries where it is legally restricted. According to psychotherapists, causes of divorce may include communication problems, problems of authority, unrealistic expectations, and sexuality. Other possible reasons are absence of loving feelings, conflicts of values, personality problems, marital infidelity, lack of affection, money issues, abuse toward a spouse and/or children, alcohol and other drugs, and homosexuality. Fortunately though, divorce can be prevented. One way of doing this is to do a personal background check.

In the past, in order to obtain information about someone, a person had to use detective agencies to run these checks. Now, obtaining information about someone is less expensive and hassle-free. It is “less expensive” because it isn’t free, and yet it costs a lot less than hiring detective agencies.

The great thing about it is that you will not be billed for every individual background check you do. Instead, you will be charged a registration fee, and then you can start running limitless background checks anytime you wish. It is “hassle-free” because you get to access information from the Internet using only a few taps or clicks of your mouse.

Personal background checks are a great way to find out complete information about someone. All you need is a specialized online background information database through which you can retrieve all kinds of information on just about anyone. You can simply enter the person’s name and obtain data, such as his address details, marriage history, and complete background history.

Personal background checks provide an easy way to find out details about anyone you might be curious about. They serve their purpose in preventing divorce by checking whether a prospective spouse has had any past divorces or finding out whether or not a prospective spouse has been alleged for abuse in the past.

Divorce Strategies and Tactics – Coping With Divorce

by Chris Jensen

Ending a relationship, especially marriage was never considered to be an easy task. Surviving the pain, the lonely nights, hurtful feelings and the heartbreak is an arduous thing to do. Hence, coping with divorce needs time and effort.

In this difficult time of your life, there are actually certain things you can do to ease the pain, stress and to cope up with the divorce itself. Coping with divorce – how can you possibly do it? Yes you can and you will eventually move on. Here are the things you should remember to cheer up your lonely heart:

1. Accept the Divorce and everything will follow

Acceptance is one important step in coping with divorce. This is the first thing you should do in this difficult time of your life. This is actually an important step in healing from everything that you have experienced. Accept the real fact that the marriage is over and a new beginning awaits you. This was never meant to be easy but just keep in mind that this is a step-by-step process that you will eventually perfect and that you will be able to go through.

2. Time Heals All Wounds

After the separation, being able to understand that your feelings are normal is one great way of coping with divorce. Just remember that you’re a human being, so if you feel sad, angry, devastated, confused, frustrated and exhausted, these are just normal reactions that you need to go through. Always keep in mind; these will all come to pass. These negative emotions that you are currently experiencing is just a phase of your life and after a span of time, your lonely heart will be healed and will be ready to face the world again. If you would be patient enough and be able to clearly understand that time will heal your broken heart, for sure you would over-come all of these uncertainties going on right now with you.

3. Forgive and Forget

Forgiveness is one positive way in coping with divorce. Just remember, that there’s no moving on without any forgiveness at all. If you would be able to forgive and forget you would be able to feel again. A fresh start is waiting for you, so you might as well leave the past behind and leave all of your “old emotional baggage”.

4. Give Yourself a Deserving Break

Starting everything with you is one helpful way in coping with divorce. After dealing with a lot of problems, not to mention all the pain and the stress, you deserve a break. Take some time out, enjoy and have some fun. Can you do this? Of course you can. Be positive and keep the faith alive. Always remember, pain is inevitable but suffering is optional. You always have a choice, so why not choose to look at the bright side of life and just take this as a learning experience. Being able to love and give yourself another chance at this time of your life will eventually help you move on.

5. You Are Not Alone

You should not go through with this kind of problem alone. Don’t forget that you still have your family, your friends and even your children who love you. If you will share your thoughts and feelings with the people who care and loves you, this will be your successful way in coping with divorce. Stop isolating yourself, this will only give you more stress and negative thoughts. Don’t be ashamed or feel afraid to reach out with others, you need them in this healing stage of your life.

Divorce can give you so much pain and stress, and can really change your life forever, but just take it as a learning experience. Learn from everything you have gone through and take one day at a time to move on. Right now you’re in a difficult phase of your life, but just remember to be positive and stay focus because you are now one step closer in coping with divorce. You can do it and in no time, you’ll be surprise to see a better and stronger new you.
